Micro-needling is a minimally-invasive non-surgical procedure for facial rejuvenation that involves the use of a micro-needling device to create controlled skin injury.
As each fine needle punctures the skin, it creates a channel or micro-wound. The controlled injury triggers the body to fill these micro-wounds by producing new collagen and elastin in the papillary dermis. This treatment leads to reduction of scars and skin rejuvenation, i.e., improved skin texture, firmness and hydration. It is also used in hair regrowth procedures with or without PRP. Skin needling is considered to be one of the safest skin treatment procedures.
Chemical peel facials remove superficial dead skin cells to reveal smoother, softer, and brighter complexions. Chemical peels are also useful in the treatment of acne. Chemical Peels cannot be performed on skin that is tan or burned from sun exposure. Self-tanner should not be used 2 weeks prior to your peel. Note: discontinue the use of any topical prescription medications 7 days before treatment. For example: Accutane, Retin-A, Trilumen, Differin, etc. You should not have a chemical peel if you have allergies to aspirin and/or salicylates, have active cold sores, have dormant eczema, are pregnant or lactating.
